‘Tis the season.

2020 has been an interesting year to say the least, but just because the travelers in your life may not have had the chance to explore … does not mean that they have lost that travel spirit!

With the holidays right around the corner, this holiday gift guide is sure to provide you with some great gift ideas for the travelers in your life; all of which will come in handy on the road, but also here at home.

PACKING AND ORGANIZATION

As an avid traveler and someone who travels for a living, packing and organization has been one thing that took me years to figure out. Luckily I finally seem to have it down to an art, but I could never have done it without the perfect luggage and luggage accessories!

Here are my must-have gift items for travelers who like to stay (or need help staying) organized.

PACKING CUBES

For the traveler who likes to stay organized, be sure to pick up some Gonex Expandable Compression Packing Cubes.

Not only do packing cubes help to separate and organize an otherwise messy suitcase, but expandable compression packing cubes make the most of limited space and are great for the over packer who longs to travel light!

FANNY PACK

One of my favorite purchases this year was a hip bag (or fanny pack) with an adjustable strap to wear around my waist or across my chest.

My favorite for price, quality and style is Fabletics and they offer a number of different colors and styles that are both trendy and functional.

Join Fabletics as a VIP member and unlock monthly deals and discounts on activewear and loungewear or check out similar styles on amazon.

NORDACE COMINO DAYPACK

There are so many options out there when it comes to picking a daypack, but the Comino Daypack by Nordace is a new favorite of mine.

Not only is this pack spacious and stylish, but it makes organizing so intuitive that I can easily access things like my wallet, camera or passport while I’m on the go.

ELECTRONICS

If you have been following my adventures for awhile, then you know how much tech and electronics I carry with me. From my Cameras and Drones to my cell phone, microphone and countless external hard drives, sometimes it feels as if electronics are the only things in my bag.

Yes, perhaps I overdo it just a little, but there are definitely some gift worthy items that I never leave home without!

BLUETOOTH TRAVEL SPEAKER

One thing that I never travel without is a lightweight, waterproof, Bluetooth speaker for listening to music around the pool, out on the water or in my hotel room.

JBL has a number of great options (at an affordable price point) but for travel I prefer their JBL Clip 3 Portable Waterproof Speaker with up to ten hours of battery life and a handy dandy carabiner clip.

NOISE CANCELLING HEADPHONES

Speaking of music, there’s nothing like a good pair of noise cancelling headphones for listening to music, podcasts or watching movies on long flights.

These Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones are comfortable, lightweight and offer extra features specifically for frequent travelers including Unique Atmospheric Pressure Optimizing which means that these headphones deliver optimal sound at high altitude so that you can enjoy even better sound when you fly!

PORTABLE CHARGER

For anyone who travels often, being able to charge your electronics on the go is a simple luxury that goes a long way. Pick up a pocket sized portable charger from Anker as an inexpensive gift or stocking stuffer for the traveler in your life.

LUGGAGE SCALE

This item is definitely more functional than fun, but makes the perfect stocking stuffer for the travel addict in your life.

When you fly between countries on numerous airlines (and often accumulate items as you go) it is so helpful to have a portable luggage scale on hand to prevent any issues or delays at check-in.

SKINCARE + WELLNESS

Whether you are sunbathing in tropical locations and surfing out in the salt water, or hiking in the mountains in the cold, dry mountain air, your skin is sure to take a bit of a beating. Every item listed below is a favorite of mine and helps to keep my skin feeling young, fresh and healthy no matter what activities are on my list!

KOFFEE BEAUTY

Whether it’s the food, the drinks, the sun or the recycled airplane air, traveling always does a number on my skin. There is nothing like a good organic coffee scrub though to boost antioxidants, hydrate dry skin and prevent signs of aging … or in my case, sun damage.

My absolute favorite coffee scrub is from Koffee Beauty and if you follow @tltravel on our social media platforms then you already know why.

Not only is Koffee Beauty affordable but it’s effective as well and makes the perfect stocking stuffer. Koffee Beauty is cruelty free, phosphate free, paraben free and sulfate free and if you use code TLTRAVEL at checkout you will receive 20% OFF your entire order.

*Order your Koffee Beauty between November 23 - November 30 for an additional 10% off (that’s 30% total) when you use the TLTRAVEL affiliate code. Enjoy!

FACE MASKS

It wouldn’t be 2020 if I didn’t add some face masks to this wellness list … and I will tell you right now, not all masks are created equal.

If you or the traveler in your life has sensitive skin or suffers from “maskne” it might be time to look into an Anti-Acne Face Mask. The Anti-Acne Face Mask from MDacne soothes, protects, and balances your skin!

This mask is infused with anti-microbial & anti-viral particles which work to zap bacteria and reduce the risk of breakouts.

SILK PILLOWCASE

I don’t know about you, but something about sharing a hotel pillowcase with countless strangers has always creeped me out. For that reason I have always traveled with my own, but now that I have a Blissy pillowcase I can’t imagine it any other way!

The Blissy Pillowcase is a completely natural and hypoallergenic silk pillow case designed to take care of your hair, skin and overall health while you sleep. Pick one up for the traveler in your life and sleep soundly knowing that this case will be well used both at home and on the road.
